A twenty-six-year-old man from Southeast Portland who was wanted on a warrant for DUI was finally arrested and locked up on six new charges after he crashed his vehicle into two other vehicles while fleeing from police in Happy Valley.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputies informed that Sam Hancos was speeding away from a traffic stop, urging a police pursuit that attained speeds of over 100 miles per hour.

The pursuit ended with Hancos crashing with a truck hauling gravel and an SUV at Southeast 172nd and Vogel Road.
Hancos dragged out of the broken back window of his car with the intention to run, but witnesses caught him. The other two drivers suffered minor and non-life threatening injuries.

Driving under the influence is a serious offense and very often brings severe penalties.
If you were charged with DUI, make sure you have a well-prepared defense. Going through this process on your own is not the best idea. You would need a skilled and experienced lawyer who knows what to do.

Depending on whether this is your first-time drunk driving and causing an accident, you could face up to six months in jail (maybe even a year, if your BAC shows .20%). Fines range from $1000 up to $2000 if your BAC is .20 or higher.
First-time offenders face driver’s license suspension for up to thirty days.

None of this sounds like a good idea, but then again, sitting behind the wheel while intoxicated is not a good idea as well.
If you want to have better chances at court, make sure you get a skillful DUI attorney who has been dealing with cases like yours.

I've known Aaron for several years, and while I've never needed an attorney for my own legal needs, he'd the the first one I'd contact if the situation ever arose. As a member on an interview panel for an attorney position years ago, I was thoroughly impressed with not only his professional background, but his sharp mind for legal matters, as well as his strong work ethic. I think a person will be very well represented if they hire Aaron Tribble for their legal needs.
